What is a memosprite?
Memosprites are independent entities that can be summoned by characters following the path of Remembrance, who can be referred to as memomaster(s).
In battle, the memosprites act as a separate character, placed to the slot to the right of their memomaster, and can be targeted and interacted with just like other playable characters in the team.
Memosprites are considered summoned entities.
As they count as a separate character, they can trigger any effects that require characters to trigger, and abilities that would target adjacent targets will include the memosprite. Notably, this can affect how abilities with Blast targeting interact with the team.

Examples of these effects include:
![]() Robin | Robin’s Additional DMG can be triggered by memosprites. |
![]() Feixiao | Memosprites are able to grant Feixiao points of “Flying Aureus” when attacking. |
![]() Ruan Mei | Memosprites can apply Thanatoplum Rebloom to enemies. |
![]() Luocha | Memosprite attacks can trigger Luocha’s Zone healing. |
![]() Xueyi | Toughness Reduction inflicted by memosprites can grant Xueyi stacks of Karma. |
![]() Huohuo | Memosprites are able to trigger Huohuo’s Talent healing, regenerating Energy for Huohuo when this occurs. Huohuo’s Skill heals a primary target and the two characters adjacent to them. If a memosprite is present, it can occupy one of the targeted spaces, which can prevent Huohuo from healing three non-memosprite characters at once. |
![]() Yukong | Memosprite turns consume 1 stack of “Roaring Bowstrings.” |
How are memosprite stats determined?
Memosprite initial stats can be determined in two ways: they can be inherited from their memomaster (either in full or based on a certain amount of their stats), or their stats can have fixed amounts (determined by their Talent).
In combat, memosprite stats can be increased just like regular characters. For any percentage modifiers, the memosprite’s base stats are the same as their memomaster’s base stats unless specified otherwise.
Stats that can be inherited by memosprites include any visible stats such as: HP, ATK, DEF, SPD, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, Break Effect, Outgoing Healing Boost, Effect Hit Rate, Effect RES, Type DMG Boost, and Type RES Boost.
Memosprites do not have an Energy gauge, but will inherit Energy Regeneration Rate.
Memosprites inherit the Combat Type and Path of their memomaster, allowing them to benefit from effects that have these requirements. However, some effects exclude memosprites.
Some examples of these effects include the following:
![]() Penacony, Land of the Dreams | Memosprites gain the 10% All-Type DMG Boost, even if the memomaster is the one equipping this set. |
![]() Planetary Rendezvous | Memosprites will gain the respective Type DMG Boost. |
![]() Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm | Memosprites cannot help activate, or gain, the CRIT Rate bonus. |
What affects memosprites?
As memosprites have most of the same stats as a regular character, they are able to have their stats modified through buffs and debuffs. They can also be healed and shielded.
Control Effects on the memomaster do not affect their memosprite, as memosprites exist independently from their memomaster.

Mem is a strong independent memosprite.
Targeting memosprites
Memosprites are not affected by effects applied to the memomaster: This means that they must be targeted separately to have effects applied to them. Due to this independence, effects on memosprites will have their durations reduced during the memosprite’s own turn, independently from the memomaster.
Here are some examples of single-target abilities and their interactions with memosprites:
![]() Bronya | Bronya’s Skill will only Advance and apply its DMG Boost effect to either the memomaster or the memosprite. |
![]() Tingyun | Benediction is applied to the targeted memosprite or memomaster, and only they can inflict the Additional DMG. |
![]() Trailblazer (Remembrance) | Mem’s Action Advance is only applied to the selected target, but if Trailblazer’s E1 is unlocked, “Mem’s Support,” including the True DMG buff, is applied to both the memosprite and memomaster. |
![]() Sunday | Sunday is only able to target the memomaster with his Skill, but will apply its buff and Advance to both the memosprite and memomaster.
|
Light Cone, Relic, and Planar Ornament passive effects on the memomaster do not affect memosprites unless specifically stated to do so, or if they visibly increase a stat outside of combat.
Effects applied during combat can affect memosprites if they are the recipient of these effects.
A few of these effects are listed below. Note that it is not an exhaustive list, and instead provides examples of how different types of effects usually behave.
Affects memosprites
Passive stat boosts | These effects include any visible bonuses to the stats listed in the memosprite stat inheritance section, which is viewable outside of combat. This includes effects such as the CRIT DMG from Victory in a Blink, the ATK% from Firmament Frontline: Glamoth, or the HP% from 2-Pc Longevous Disciple. |
![]() Hero of Triumphant Song | The CRIT DMG boost is applied to both memomaster and memosprite, but their durations will tick down independently. |
![]() Night of Fright | A memosprite’s ATK will be increased if they are healed by the wearer of this Light Cone. |
![]() Dance! Dance! Dance! | Memosprites’ actions can be Advanced Forward by Light Cone Abilities. |
![]() ![]() Past and Future / But the Battle Isn’t Over | The DMG Boost can be applied to memosprites if they are the next character in the Action Order. |
Does not affect memosprites
![]() Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern | Memosprites are unable to trigger the Break Effect boost, as this Set Effect is only applied to the wearer (memomaster). |
![]() Longevous Disciple | Memosprites are unable to trigger the CRIT Rate boost, as this Set Effect is only applied to the wearer (memomaster). |
![]() The Wondrous BananAmusement Park | Memosprites count as summons and can activate the CRIT DMG Set Effect for the memomaster, but they are unable to benefit from it. |
Effects applied to the entire team are able to affect memosprites. However, certain effects will only be applied to memosprites if they are already on the field.
Some examples of teamwide effects:
Take effect regardless of when memosprite was summoned
![]() Robin | All of Robin’s buffs are teamwide and apply to memosprites; this includes her Skill and Ultimate buffs, as well as her passive CRIT DMG buff. |
![]() Luocha | Luocha’s Zone healing and E1 ATK Boost can both affect memosprites. |
![]() Sparkle | The ATK Boost from Sparkle’s A6 Bonus Ability will always be applied to memosprites. |
Only take effect if applied after memosprite was summoned
![]() Aventurine | Aventurine can only shield memosprites if they are already on the field. |
![]() Sparkle | Sparkle’s Ultimate must be applied while the memosprite is already summoned. |
![]() Sunday | Memosprites do not benefit from “The Beatified,” or Sunday’s Skill DMG bonus if summoned after Sunday applies this effect. |
![]() Messenger Traversing Hackerspace | The SPD Boost can only be applied while the memosprite is already summoned. |
Memosprites and Sunday
While most single-target effects require the memosprite to be directly targeted to be applied, Sunday’s Skill and Ultimate are able to apply certain effects to both the memomaster and memosprite simultaneously if both are on the field. The effects are still independent and will tick down on their respective turns.
![]() Sunday | The CRIT Rate from Sunday’s Talent is applied to both the memomaster and memosprite. |
![]() Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal | The CRIT DMG is applied to both the memomaster and memosprite. |
![]() A Grounded Ascent | The DMG Boost from this Light Cone is applied to both the memomaster and memosprite. |
Memosprite Energy Regeneration
Memosprites do not possess an Energy gauge of their own, instead they regenerate Energy for their memomaster.
Memosprites regenerate Energy for the memomaster when using their Memosprite Skill, and when they defeat an enemy. In addition, when memosprites are attacked, or targeted by abilities that grant Energy, this Energy is directed to the memomaster.
For abilities that regenerate Energy for the entire team (e.g., Huohuo’s Ultimate, Shared Feeling, Past Self in Mirror), these only take effect once for the memomaster, regardless of whether the memosprite is on the field or not.
Memosprite Abilities and Actions
Memosprites possess additional Traces that must be upgraded independently in their memomaster’s Trace menu. Memosprite Skill levels increase the attributes of their active ability/abilities, while Memosprite Talent levels increase the attribute of their passive abilities.
Memosprites will use abilities during their turns as determined by their Memosprite Talent. As an example, Mem will use “Baddies! Trouble!” whenever they take action, unless the Charge is at 100%, in which case “Lemme! Help You!” is used instead.
Damage and Joint Attacks
When memosprites deal damage through their own abilities, this damage is considered Memosprite DMG. It is affected by All-Type DMG Boosts and the memosprite’s corresponding Type DMG Boost (e.g., Ice DMG Boost), but is unaffected by DMG Boosts for Basic ATKs, Skills, Ultimates, etc.
Certain abilities can cause the memosprite to perform a Joint Attack with their memomaster. These abilities contain separate multipliers that use the memomaster and memosprite’s stats independently, and are considered two separate attacks.
As Joint Attacks are considered separate attacks, effects that trigger during an attack will trigger once on the memomaster’s attack and once on the memosprite’s attack, and this is considered as both of them attacking.
While Joint Attacks are considered two separate attacks, they are only considered a single Action.
Joint Attacks inherit the DMG Type of the Joint Attack itself, which can include Basic ATKs, Skills, and so forth.
